Membrane structure covers for wastewater treatment tanks and environmental equipment are engineered roof and enclosure systems designed to seal tanks, lagoons, or process units to reduce odor emissions, prevent harmful gas escape, and facilitate controlled gas collection for treatment. Membrane covers have increasingly replaced conventional hard covers (steel, FRP) due to better corrosion resistance, lower maintenance, and ease of installation — especially in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
Membrane structure sewage pool and environmental protection equipment covering system is an efficient closed sealing solution designed for various sewage pools, waste gas treatment equipment and other scenarios, which mainly adopts a composite structure of "flexible membrane material + rigid support" and realizes the isolation of corrosive gases, efficient collection of waste gas and environmentally compliant discharge through reverse hanging design (steel structure is placed outside, and membrane material is suspended below). The product is widely used in municipal sewage treatment plants (primary sedimentation tanks, aeration tanks, sludge thickening tanks), chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, breeding industry, landfill leachate treatment stations and other industries. It can be adapted to rectangular, circular and special-shaped pool bodies, supporting two core types: fixed type and follow-up type (adapting to water level changes), and meeting the requirements of non-stop production construction.

Typical Materials
PTFE-coated fiberglass (Teflon-coated glass fibre)
Excellent thermal resistance (continuous service up to ~+260°C), UV and weather resistance, low surface energy for “self-cleaning”, long service life and high dimensional stability. Typical tensile strengths vary by product but can reach several hundred to over one thousand N/5cm depending on weight and weave.
PVC/PVDF-coated polyester (often with PVDF finish)
Economical, colourable/printable, good waterproofing and fire-retardant formulations; PVDF topcoat significantly improves UV and long-term durability. Typical design life 15–25 years under normal exposure when correctly detailed and maintained.
ETFE foil (single layer or cushion)
Very light, high transparency for daylighting — used when visual/lighting performance is required.
