Introduction:

Composite ductwork consists of two or more layers of different materials bonded together. It typically features a core of insulation material (such as polyurethane or phenolic foam) covered on the outside with a protective layer, such as aluminum foil or color-coated steel sheets, providing both ventilation and insulation functions. Their features include: light weight, quick installation (no additional insulation work required), low thermal conductivity, good sound insulation, and a smooth surface that minimizes airflow resistance. They are suitable for applications requiring thermal insulation, such as air conditioning supply and low-temperature air distribution (e.g., office buildings, hospitals, and cold storage facilities), helping to reduce heat loss from the ducts and simplify the construction process. Common types include phenolic composite ducts and polyurethane composite ducts, which serve as efficient and convenient solutions for energy-efficient ventilation systems in buildings.
